- milk - 1/4 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- brown sugar
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- chocolate bits - 1 c
- Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream, then dry ingredients, nuts and bits last
How to make butterscotch cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and sour cream, then dry ingredients, nuts and bits last. Bake 10 minutes at 400°, then frost with Caramel Icing.Caramel Frosting:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. milk1/3 c. butter2 c. powdered sugar1/2 tsp. vanilla Combine first 3 ingredients. Boil 2 minutes.
