  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • sifted flour - 3 c
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp
  • butter or Crisco - 1 c
  • chopped pecans optional - 1 c

How to make butterscotch cookies:

Mix well and make into a roll. Let stand in icebox overnight. Slice 1/4-inch thick. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
