Butterscotch banana bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped pecans
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- ripe, mashed bananas 4 to 6 medium bananas - 2 c
How to make butterscotch banana bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine bananas, sugar, eggs and butter; beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk; mix until well blended. Stir in 2 cups chopped pecans and Nestle butterscotch morsels.Pour batter equally into two well-greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Sprinkle remaining pecans over batter. Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pans. Makes two loaves.
