Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- butterscotch morsels - 2 c
- ripe mashed bananas - 2 c
How to make butterscotch banana bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside. In large bowl, combine bananas, sugar, eggs and butter. Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk; mix until well blended. Stir in 2 cups chopped nuts and butterscotch flavored morsels. Pour batter equally into 2 well-greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Sprinkle tops equally with remaining 2/3 cup chopped nuts.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Bananas.
