Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- chicken broth
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- orange rind and juice - 1 item
- minced ginger root - 1 tsp
How to make butternut squash soup:
Peel and dice squash. Simmer in broth until tender. Puree. Return to stove and add remaining ingredients. Simmer. Adjust seasonings.Eaten at Wednesday potluck suppers and enjoyed by all.
