Butternut pound cake



  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • self-rising flour
  • plain flour
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • butternut flavoring - 3 tsp

How to make butternut pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar. Add sour cream; blend well. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Sift plain flour and self-rising flour together. Add flour to mixture, 1 cup at a time. Mix well. Add butternut flavoring; blend well. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300°. Do not open at all during baking. Cool in pan and turn out on cake plate.
