Buttermilk sherbet
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- buttermilk - 2 c
- egg white - 1 item
- crushed pineapple and juice - 1 c
How to make buttermilk sherbet:
Mix buttermilk, sugar, salt, pineapple and vanilla. Freeze to a mush about 45 minutes. Whip egg white until stiff and fold into well-beaten mixture. Return to freezer and freeze without stirring.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Midwestern u.s..
