Buttermilk salad
Ingredients/Components
- buttermilk - 2 c
- frozen whipped topping, thawed - 8 oz
- crushed pineapple in syrup
- chopped nuts pecans or almonds - 1/2 c
- orange or lime flavored gelatin - 6 oz
How to make buttermilk salad:
In a large pan, bring pineapple and syrup to a boil. Stir in gelatin. Cool to room temperature. Stir in buttermilk; fold in whipped topping and nuts. Pour into an 8-cup mold. Chill 4 hours or overnight.Recipe categories: Low protein, Salads, Side dish.
