- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2 c
- Swans Down cake flour - 3 c
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Mix the first 5 ingredients, then add the rest. Flour and oil the pan. Put in cold oven at 325° for 1 hour; test. If not done, cook 15 minutes more.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
