Buttermilk pound cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla flavoring - 2 Tbsp
- soda - 1/3 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- lemon flavoring - 1/2 tsp
- butter flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- margarine 1 box of Whipped Parkay plus one Tbsp - 1/2 lb
- softasilk flour - 3 c
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Combine sugar, margarine, and eggs. Combine soda, buttermilk, and all flavorings. After sugar, eggs, and margarine are blended, add buttermilk mixture (1/3 of it at a time) with 1 cup flour at a time, blending well. Start in a cold oven with a pan of water underneath. Bake at 350° in a buttered and floured Bundt cake pan, for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until done. Using toothpick for testing.
