  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp

How to make buttermilk pound cake:

Have all ingredients at room temperature.

Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add soda and vanilla. Add flour alternately with buttermilk. Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan or loaf pans. Bake 1 hour or until done. Serves 10 or 12.
