Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Have all ingredients at room temperature.Preheat oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time. Add soda and vanilla. Add flour alternately with buttermilk. Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan or loaf pans. Bake 1 hour or until done. Serves 10 or 12.
