- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Combine sugar and shortening together. Add eggs, one at a time. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Mix together in separate bowl the flour, soda, salt and baking powder. Add to mixture. Pour in Bundt pan and cook for 1 hour at 325°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
