- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- large eggs - 5 item
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1 c
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Mix Crisco and sugar; blend well. Slowly add eggs 1 at a time, blend slowly. Add flour. Mix buttermilk with baking soda, then add to mixture. Add vanilla; blend. Bake 1hour and 35 minutes. Cool, slice and eat.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
