  • salt - 1/4 Tbsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • soda - 1/2 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • Crisco - 1 c

How to make buttermilk pound cake:

Put all ingredients, except buttermilk, in a bowl and mix well. Add buttermilk and beat 15 minutes on medium speed. Pour into well-greased pan and bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.
