- sugar
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- buttermilk - 1 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
How to make buttermilk pound cake:
Cream together butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each. Add milk and vanilla. Mix flour and soda and add to mixture. Pour into greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, For large groups.
