  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 2/3 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • vanilla, plus a drop of almond extract - 1 tsp
  • 2 frozen pie shells - 1 pkg

How to make buttermilk pie:

Stir 2 tablespoons flour into the sugar. Cream in butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each time. Add buttermilk, vanilla, almond extract and salt; mix well. Pour into 2 pie shells. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Good served warm or cold. Can be frozen.
