Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- all purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
- unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- butter or margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
How to make buttermilk pie:
Combine sugar and flour, mixing well; add eggs, butter and buttermilk. Beat well. Stir in flavorings. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
