Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
How to make buttermilk pie:
Combine sugar and flour in bowl; add eggs, margarine, buttermilk and flavorings. Mix well. Turn into pastry shell. Bake at 425° for 10 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350° and bake for 30 minutes longer. Yields 6 to 8 servings.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
