Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 Tbsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- pie shell - 1 item
How to make buttermilk pie:
Mix flour and sugar together until fine. Add cooled margarine, eggs, buttermilk and vanilla. Mix well. Pour in pie shell. Bake 15 minutes at 450°, turn temperature down to 325° and bake 25 minutes or until pie is set. Cool, do not cut while hot.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
