Ingredients/Components
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- all-purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- c sugar - 1-1/3 item
How to make buttermilk pie:
Combine sugar and flour, mixing well. Add eggs, butter and buttermilk. Beat well. Stir in flavorings. Pour into pastry shell and bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake 30-35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
