Ingredients/Components

  • vanilla extract - 2 tsp
  • unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • all-purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
  • margarine, melted - 1/2 c
  • lemon extract - 1 tsp
  • c sugar - 1-1/3 item

How to make buttermilk pie:

Combine sugar and flour, mixing well. Add eggs, butter and buttermilk. Beat well. Stir in flavorings. Pour into pastry shell and bake at 400° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and bake 30-35 minutes.
