Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • white Karo - 2 Tbsp

How to make buttermilk fudge:

Place in large boiler and mix well. Cook to soft ball stage and add vanilla and nuts. Beat until thick and pour in greased pan. Optional: Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper for pralines.
