Buttermilk crumb cake
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 3 c
- sugar - 2 c
- margarine - 2/3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- buttermilk
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
How to make buttermilk crumb cake:
Mix flour, sugar and margarine into fine crumbs. Reserve 1 cup of crumbs for topping. Add to remaining crumbs eggs, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla. Mix together. Pour mixture into greased cake pan. Then add remaining crumbs in top of batter before baking. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Breads, Coffee cakes.
