Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • stick margarine, melted - 1 item
  • can Angel Flake coconut - 1 1/2
  • whole eggs, well beaten - 3 item

How to make buttermilk coconut pie:

Mix flour with sugar. Add beaten eggs, margarine, buttermilk, vanilla and 2/3 cup coconut. Mix well. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Sprinkle remaining coconut over pie. Bake at 325° for about 1 hour.
