Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- sifted confectioners sugar
- sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
- slightly beaten eggs - 2 item
- buttermilk or milk - 3 Tbsp
- cocoa regular type, dry - 1/3 c
- Stir constantly
How to make buttermilk brownies:
In saucepan, combine butter, cocoa and 1 cup water; bring to boil. Stir constantly. Remove from heat; in large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Stir in eggs, buttermilk and vanilla.
