Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- white sugar - 3/4 c
- sifted all-purpose flour
- butter flavor Crisco - 1/3 c
- egg can use 2 if desired - 1 item
- to 3 Butterfinger bars, chopped or crushed - 2 item
How to make butterfinger cookies:
Cream shortening and sugar together; add egg and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together; sprinkle over crushed Butterfinger bars and combine with wet ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes for chewy cookies; 11 1/2 to 12 minutes for crunchy cookies.
