  • butter - 1/2 c
  • powdered sugar - 2 c
  • small Cool Whip - 1 item
  • large Butterfinger candy bar - 1 item
  • Filling:3 egg yolks
  • angel food cake mix or 1 ready made angel food cake - 1 item

How to make butterfinger cake:

Filling:3 egg yolks2 c. powdered sugar1/2 c. butter1 small Cool Whip Bake cake according to directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cool and remove and cut in half horizontally. Beat filling ingredients. Spread half of filling in between the two layers and the rest on top. Sprinkle with crushed Butterfinger bar. Refrigerate. If using a ready made cake, tear cake into chunks and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Spread filling over, pushing some down between chunks. Cover top completely. Sprinkle with Butterfinger bar. Refrigerate.
