Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 3/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- corn syrup - 1 c
- lightly packed brown sugar - 1 c
- currants or raisins - 1 c
How to make butter tarts:
In bowl, cream margarine, sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and salt. Stir in eggs, currants or raisins. Fill tart shells almost full. Bake in 425° oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool on rack before removing from pans.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, American.
