Butter rolls



Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make butter rolls:
Combine sugar, milk and butter in small pan. Heat to 125°. In a bowl, combine 1 3/4 cup flour plus yeast and salt. Add the warm mixture and the eggs. Mix for 1/2 minute on low and 3 minutes on high. Add the rest of the flour, mixing thoroughly. (A food processor works well at this point.) Cover and refrigerate overnight. Divide batter into 2 parts. Roll each to 1/4-inch thickness on a floured board. Spread with melted butter. Cut into 16 wedges and roll each into a crescent shape beginning at the wide end. Place on a greased baking sheet and let rise about 2 hours. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
