  • sugar - 3 c
  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
  • whipping cream - 1/2 pt
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • cake flour - 3 c
  • lemon extract - 1/2 tsp

How to make butter pound cake:

Set butter out for about 6 hours until softened. Blend butter and sugar. Add 1 egg at a time, mixing well after each one. Add flour, cream, lemon and vanilla extract. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 300° until toothpick comes out clean (about 1 hour).
