Butter pecan cookies
Ingredients/Components
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter, softened - 1 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- light molasses - 1/4 c
- finely chopped pecans - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 item
How to make butter pecan cookies:
Combine flour and salt, set aside. Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Add molasses; mix until well blended. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture; mix well. Stir in nuts. Roll dough into 1-inch balls; place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes. Dust or roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.
