Butter pecan cookies

Ingredients/Components

• eggs - 2 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• chopped pecans - 1 c
• granulated sugar - 3/4 c
• butter or margarine - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• brown sugar - 3/4 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• sifted all-purpose flour

How to make butter pecan cookies:

Cream butter and sugars until light. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts. Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate oven at 375° for about 10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
