  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item

How to make butter horns:

Heat milk to scalding; add margarine, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and stir until dissolved. Add eggs and then flour. Mix to a smooth, soft dough. Knead lightly on floured surface. Place dough in a greased bowl; cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk. Divide dough into thirds. Roll each third on floured surface to the size of a 9-inch pie pan. Cut each round in 12 wedges. Roll each triangle, starting with wide end, and rolling to center.

Arrange on greased baking sheet. Brush lightly with melted butter. Cover and let rise until light. Bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes. Very light and good.
