  • vanilla - 1 Tbsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • butter - 1 lb

How to make butter cookies:

Whip butter until light and fluffy. Add sugar and whip until very light. Add flour gradually and beat until mixed well. Add vanilla and blend well. Place about 2 tablespoons of dough on ungreased cookie sheet, about 1 inch apart. Flatten slightly
