Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- butter or margarine room temperature - 1/2 lb
- dash of salt - 1 item
- flour, sifted
How to make butter cookies:
Cream soft butter, sugar, salt and egg thoroughly. Add vanilla; beat well. Gradually add flour. Put in cookie press. Press out designs on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 400° oven for 6 to 10 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
