Ingredients/Components
- boiling water - 4 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chicken, cut up - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 1 c
- dry onion soup - 1 pkg
How to make busy day chicken and rice:
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Cover bottom evenly with rice. Arrange chicken pieces on rice and dot with butter. Sprinkle dry onion soup all over. Salt and pepper to taste. Pour boiling water into pan. Bake 1 hour.If browner chicken is desired, brown before placing on rice.
