Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- pkg - 12 oz
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
- peanut butter - 1 c
- cake paraffin - 1/4 item
- stick soft butter - 1 item
How to make buckeyes:
Mix butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter and vanilla thoroughly. Form into small, slightly flattened balls. Chill for 2 hours. Melt chocolate and wax in double boiler. Using a toothpick, dip each ball in chocolate, leaving an uncovered light spot to resemble a buckeye. Place on waxed paper to harden.Variations: Make acorns instead of buckeyes by using any extra melted chocolate to form a cap. Chocolate needs to be slightly cooler for this.
