- shortening - 2 Tbsp
- margarine, softened - 1 c
- creamy peanut butter - 16 oz
How to make buckeye balls:
Beat peanut butter and margarine at medium speed with electric mixer until blended. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating until blended. Shape into 1-inch balls and chill 10 minutes or until firm. Microwave chocolate and shortening at high setting for 1 1/2 minutes or until melted. Dip each peanut butter ball in melted chocolate mixture until partially coated. Place on wax paper to harden.
