Ingredients/Components

  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • honey - 1 Tbsp
  • ground ginger - 1/8 tsp
  • orange juice - 2 Tbsp
  • Brussels sprouts - 2 c
  • medium carrots, cut in bite size pieces - 3 item

How to make brussels sprouts and carrots:

Cut large Brussels sprouts in half. Heat 1/2 cup water, lightly salted, to boiling. Add sprouts and carrots. Return to boiling. Reduce heat. Cook, covered, 10 to 15 minutes or until tender-crisp; drain. Return to saucepan.

Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan; heat to boiling. Pour over vegetables; stir gently to coat. Makes 4 servings. Serve with broiled chicken breasts!!!!
