Brussels sprouts and bacon
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/4 tsp
- white wine vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- slices bacon - 4 item
- Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved - 2 pt
How to make brussels sprouts and bacon:
Steam sprouts 5 minutes or until tender. In a small skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble. Add onion to drippings in skillet. Saute 5 minutes or until tender. Cook, stirring until mixture boils. Stir in bacon. Pour over Brussels sprouts.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, German.
