Brunch pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- can Veg-All mixed vegetables, drained - 1 oz
- cans corned beef hash - 2 oz
- grated cheese Cheddar or Monterey Jack - 1 c
How to make brunch pie:
Coat 9-inch pie plate with margarine. Mix hash and 1 beaten egg. Press into plate to form the crust. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes. Saute onions in 3 tablespoons margarine. Layer cheese, sauteed onions and Veg-All on crust. Beat together remaining eggs, evaporated milk and flour. Pour over mixture in crust. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, until filling is set. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Appetizers, One Dish meal.
