Brunch egg casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese, shredded - 4 oz
- onion powder - 1/8 tsp
- slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled - 4 item
- plain croutons - 2 c
- slightly beaten eggs* - 4 item
How to make brunch egg casserole:
Combine croutons and Cheddar cheese. Spread in bottom of greased 10 x 6 x 1 3/4-inch baking dish. Mix eggs, milk, salt, mustard, onion powder and pepper until well blended. Pour over crouton mixture. Spread bacon on top of casserole. Bake in oven at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes or until eggs are set. Garnish with bacon curls if desired. Serves 6.*Egg Beaters can be used in place of eggs.
