Brunch casserole



  • eggs - 6 item
  • milk
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1 tsp
  • small can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded - 12 oz
  • can mushroom soup - 1 item
  • sausage, browned and well drained - 2 lb
  • to 12 slices bread, cubed - 8 item

How to make brunch casserole:

In a 9 x 13-inch greased pan, layer bread cubes, sausage and Cheddar cheese. Beat eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard together. Pour over layered mixture and refrigerate overnight.

In the morning, mix evaporated milk with mushroom soup. Pour over mixture in the pan and bake at 325° for 1 hour. Serves 12.
