Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- sausage, cooked - 1 lb
- grated sharp cheese - 1/2 lb
- slices white bread, crust trimmed - 8 item
How to make brunch casserole:
Grease an 8 x 12-inch baking dish. Place bread as a liner in bottom of dish. Sprinkle with cheese, then sausage. Mix together eggs, milk, salt, mustard and pepper. Pour over sausage and cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until eggs are set. Serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
