Brunch casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- slices French bread, cubed - 2 item
- Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
- hot bulk sausage, browned and drained - 1 lb
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- minced parsley optional - 2 Tbsp
How to make brunch casserole:
Beat eggs, milk, salt, mustard and nutmeg. Add parsley, bread, sausage and cheese. Pour into a buttered 9 X 13 casserole. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes (325° if using glass pan). Let stand a few minutes before serving. Serves 6-8 generously.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
