  • sugar - 2 c
  • shortening - 1 c
  • eggs, well beaten - 4 item
  • flour
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • milk - 1 c
  • melted chocolate - 2 sq
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • red food coloring if desired
  • Add eggs, then add flour, salt and milk
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item

How to make brownies:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, then add flour, salt and milk. Add chocolate and vanilla. Add red food coloring, if desired. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.Minute Chocolate Frosting:1 sq. chocolate, cut up1/4 c. butter1 tsp. vanilla1 c. sugar1/3 c. milk dash of salt Melt chocolate, butter, vanilla, sugar, milk and salt. Cook until thickens. Cool a little and frost.
