Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- shortening - 2/3 c
- unsweetened chocolate or 4 heaping soup spoons of cocoa - 4 oz
How to make brownies:
Heat oven to 350°. Grease 13 x 9-inch pan. Melt chocolate and shortening in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool.Recipe categories: Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie, Brownies.
