Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- oleo
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 2 item
How to make brownies:
Icing:1/4 lb. oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box powdered sugar1 c. chopped nuts1/2 tsp. vanilla Sift together flour and sugar; set aside. Bring to a rapid boil the Crisco, cocoa and water. Pour over flour mixture and stir well. Add buttermilk, soda, eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Pour into 16 x 11-inch greased and floured pan. Bake 25 minutes at 375°.Icing: Mix oleo, cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil. Add powdered sugar, nuts and vanilla. Spread over hot brownies.
