  • brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • baking cocoa - 1/4 c
  • boiling water
  • all-purpose flour
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • chocolate chips - 1/2 c
  • baking powder
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • milk - 1/3 c
  • butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • whipped cream or vanilla ice cream - 1 item

How to make brownie pudding:

Cake:1 c. all-purpose flour1/2 c. sugar1/2 c. chocolate chips1/4 c. baking cocoa1 1/2 tsp. baking powder1/4 tsp. salt1 egg, beaten1/3 c. milk2 Tbsp. butter, melted1 tsp. vanilla whipped cream or vanilla ice cream In a saucepan, combine sauce ingredients and keep warm. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt. In another small bowl, combine egg, milk, butter and vanilla and add to dry ingredients and stir until moistened. Fold in chips. Pour into a greased 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Pour warm sauce over batter. Do not stir. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes or until cake is firm and floats in sauce. Let rest 10 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
