Brown sugar squares

Ingredients/Components

• flour - 1 c
• brown sugar - 1 c
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• egg - 1 item
• pecans, chopped - 1 c
• stick butter, softened - 1 item

How to make brown sugar squares:

Mix butter, egg and brown sugar until creamy. Add flour, baking powder and pecans. Line the bottom and sides of a 10 3/4 x 7-inch cake pan with aluminum foil, then grease foil with Crisco. Pour batter into pan and bake at 325° for 25 minutes.
