- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- egg whites, beaten stiff - 5 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening
- nuts - 1 c
- white sugar - 1/2 c
- box brown sugar - 1 lb
- egg yolks, beaten - 5 item
How to make brown sugar pound cake:
Cream together shortening, brown and white sugar. Sift flour with baking powder and add alternately with milk. Add nuts and vanilla. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in greased Bundt pan for 1 1/2 hours at 350°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
